The Community Foundation
of Middle Tennessee announces the Metro Nashville Disaster Response
Fund Advisory Committee approved the first round of flood relief grants
from the Metro Nashville Disaster Response Fund totaling $160,000. The
committee recommended grants of $10,000 each awarded to 16 nonprofit
organizations assisting in flood response and recovery efforts.

Disaster Response Funds to Support Flood Relief
The Community Foundation
of Middle Tennessee has activated its Metro Nashville Disaster
Response Fund, in partnership with the Office of the Mayor
and Davidson County’s Office of Emergency Management, to support
relief efforts necessitated by flooding, which has impacted so many
lives. Grants from the fund will be made to nonprofits supporting relief,
restoration and clean-up efforts in the Davidson County area in the
aftermath of the flooding and storms.
