Student Ticket Subsidy Program Helps Public School Students Experience Arts
The Community Foundation Seeks Grant ApplicationsNashville, TN – The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, a charitable organization benefiting nonprofits serving worthy causes in 40 Middle Tennessee counties, is seeking applicants for the Student Ticket Subsidy program, which is designed to ensure Tennessee’s school-aged children have access to live performance and the arts.
Student Ticket Subsidy, funded by the Tennessee General Assembly and administered in cooperation with the Tennessee Arts Commission and designated agencies, provides funds for arts and cultural events for public school students. As one of the designated agencies, The Community Foundation identifies area artists and arts organizations appropriate for public school students.
