Community leadership is not a funding strategy, a management approach nor a new strategic plan. We see community leadership as a way of being, thinking, mobilizing, and energizing the work of others in the community.

It starts by asking the question, “What can we do together that none of us can do on our own?”

Then, powered by a shared vision, trust, and humility, we build intentional partnerships unafraid to take on big ideas. While all community foundations seek to make their communities a better place by growing philanthropy, we see community leadership as an opportunity to change community conditions for all.
