Hayley supports nonprofit organizations and philanthropic partners in utilizing GivingMatters.com to advance informed philanthropy across Middle Tennessee. This role oversees the creation and maintenance of nonprofit profiles, ensures data accuracy, and facilitates transparency between nonprofits and funders. She collaborates with the Marketing & Communications Team on storytelling and marketing strategies, assists in grant review processes, and identifies opportunities to enhance platform value. Additionally, she provides data insights for community leadership programming and philanthropic services, ensuring GivingMatters remains a trusted and impactful resource.

Hayley is a native Nashvillian, and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and brings experience as the previous Grants Coordinator with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. Making our community a better place each day is what inspires Hayley about her work at CFMT.

“I’ve always been inspired by the Dr. Seuss quote, ‘Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better.’,” says Hayley. “It’s not, ‘We mustn’t sit idly by when there is always someone in need.’ We must all put in effort to help one another. I really feel true happiness comes from knowing you left the world a better place than you arrived at.”

In her spare time, Hayley spends time with her husband and two children, and very much enjoys film, from musicals to documentaries and everything in between.

The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.
