Jesse is a Community Impact Program Associate at CFMT, primarily supporting our work in Employee Care and Scholarships. A proud Nashville native, Jesse was immersed in the non-profit landscape at a young age, receiving recognition from Community Nashville and Oasis Center for youth leadership and his facilitation of the Camp Anytown program. A graduate of Bard College, Jesse is the creator of FAILURE! a showcase dedicated to celebrating queer artists through interdisciplinary performance and conversation. His work has been presented at Gibney Dance, New York Live Arts, Bushwig Drag Festival, Abrons Art Center, Movement Research, and Brooklyn Arts Exchange.

“I’m returning to Nashville energized and grateful for the opportunity to join CFMT’s Community Impact Team,” says Jesse. “It’s exciting to be at a place addressing immediate community needs and tackling the larger systemic challenges that come with the city’s rapid growth.”

Outside of the office, Jesse is a big nerd! A problem solver and storyteller, he has always gravitated toward science fiction and fantasy, accompanied by his cat Delilah. He also loves the outdoors and is a proud Eagle Scout (check out the bus shelter he built at Elmington Park.)

The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.
