Shemika manages the CFMT’s Employee Care Funds Program, collaborating with the Donor Services Team to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to best practices. She oversees data management, verifies applicants’ employment, and works directly with those in crisis to determine eligibility. Shemika also supervises the Employee Care Associates and their tasks.

Shemika graduated from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Before joining CFMT, she worked at Kroger Company, where she managed one of the company’s Starbucks stores for two years. Helping our community in their times of crisis is what Shemika loves about her role at CFMT.

“I enjoy being able to bring relief to families in crisis,” says Shemika. “It’s heartwarming to hear them express how they don’t have to worry about being homeless while facing a traumatic event.”

Shemika enjoys spending my time rooting for New England Patriots football and South Carolina Gamecocks women basketball. She also enjoys shopping, making resin tumblers and watching true crime documentaries.
